This program helps homeless adults charged with minor offences to be referred to appropriate support services and where possible avoid fines or imprisonment. Homeless people referred to the program are given the opportunity to resolve issues that may be related to their offending, such as accommodation, health, drugs and alcohol dependence. The program can offer support with engaging in other programs that may relate to their particular circumstance such as legal representation, health services, drug and alcohol programs including detox, treatment and rehabilitation, mental health.
